Crystallization instructions for the maintenance of marble, terrazzo, and concrete floors

Floor Care Crystallization For Polished Marble

Crystallize the flooring on a quarterly basis. Pay special attention to the traffic areas using “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” & “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” following the directions below

Before beginning the process be sure the floor is clean and dry. If the floor is dirty repeat the cleaning process.

Using the Coor & Kleever polishing machines begin by filling the left chemical dispensing bottle with “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” and the right chemical dispensing bottle with “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3”. Using a clean steel wool pad #1 begin the polishing process by applying about 1/2 oz. of “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” across 6 square feet of marble flooring using the left chemical dispensing bottle provided with your Coor & Kleever polishing machines. Dispense the chemical while running the machine to the left into the stream of “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” during the dispensing process.

You will be using the direction of the machine and the steel wool pad to spread the “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” across the 6 square foot area. This motion will increase the actual working area to approx. 10 square feet. 

Continue the buffing process until any trace of the wet chemical has been buffed into the stone. Repeat the “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” process until the entire area has been polished with “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2”. Next, begin the “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” application. Apply the “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” using the same machine and steel wool that was used in the “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” application. Apply the “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” using the right chemical dispensing bottle. Apply the “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” in the exact same fashion as the “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” was applied. 

The only difference in the application process is that you will be dispensing the “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” from the right chemical dispensing bottle means that you will be moving the machine to the right while dispensing the “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3”. Pay special attention to the floor surface to insure that all traces of “POLISH-SEALANT COOR SELLO / K3” has been removed from the stone surface during the buffing process. 

To complete the process repeat the “CRYSTALLIZER COOR BASE ROSA / K2” application. Sweep up any steel wool fibers and dust that could be left over from the process. This should leave the floor looking new with a highly reflective finish.
